Your post sort of implies that Fuente had a choice with regards to leaving.


The fact is some of this attrition and opting out was because of the coaching change. A change that many people on here wanted. Fuente didn’t so much “put us in this mess” as this mess was collateral damage from firing him and the other coaches. There were always going to be downsides to firing a staff and this was one of them. I’m not even arguing that we should or shouldn’t have done it… just that I don’t know that it’s fair to pin the “mess” on Fuente when at least part of it was created b/c we got rid of him.
